Cottage accommodation (circa 1882) is available for larger families or couples requiring self-contained accommodation on Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay in Sorrento. The cottage is located in the main street of Sorrento Village easy walking to Bay and Ocean Beaches, shops, restaurants, galleries and all that Sorrento has to offer. Just a short drive to many Golf courses and Wineries!
The Beach Cottage can accommodate a maximum of 7 persons.
Our Heritage listed beach cottage has 3 bedrooms. Bedding configurations are Queen bed in main bedroom, a double bed with single bunk bed in 2nd bedroom and 2 single bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom. A port-a-cot and high chair can be provided upon request. All linen, towels, doonas and additional blankets are provided.
Facilities include lounge with television/DVD/CD, separate dining, fully equipped kitchen, laundry and bathroom with a bath. We also provide a "starter" pack. This consists of milk, fresh bread, tea & coffee, fruit juice and jams & butters.
A large gas BBQ is located on the rear verandah/deck area for easy summer outdoor dining.
The private back garden of the Beach Cottage has children's play equipment and we welcome pets under certain strict conditions. The cottage is fenced on 3 sides only.
Main street location in historic Sorrento Village makes the Beach Cottage perfect for a family or group vacation by Port Phillip Bay, or for weekend escapes from nearby Melbourne.
Carmel of Sorrento's Beach Cottage is centrally located in Ocean Beach Road, Sorrento's main street, between Bay and Ocean Beaches and close to Portsea, Rye, Rosebud and all the wonderful Mornington Peninsula tourism attractions and activities. Please Note: We do have availability in the Cottage for the June Long Weekend. Minimum 3 nights.
